The Punjab government has formally initiated the Chief Minister Laptop Program 2025 with a target to distribute 110,000 free laptops among meritorious students. Led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the program focuses on meritorious students from public institutions, minorities, and students in South Punjab. Who Can Apply? Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, students need to fulfill the following criteria:
- Domicile: Should be from any district of Punjab.
- Enrollment Status:
- BS Programs: 1st or 2nd semester in public institutions/colleges (minimum 65% in intermediate).
- Medical/Dental Colleges: 1st professional year (2024 academic year) with 80% in intermediate.
- Technical/Agricultural Colleges: Studying in public institutions.
- Exclusion: Should not have received a laptop from any government scheme previously.

How to Register Online: Step-by-Step Guide?
Complete the steps below to enroll for the CM Laptop Scheme 2025:
- Go to the Official Portal: Log on to the Punjab Higher Education website at cmlaptophedpunjabgov.com.pk.
- Select the Laptop Program: Click “CM Laptop Program.”
- Start Application: Select “Apply Now.”
- Create an Account: Enter the following required information:
- Full Name
- Valid Email Address
- Phone Number
- CNIC (which should be that of the applicant)
- Password (create and confirm)
- Enter Captcha Code
- Submit: Press “Sign Up” to register.

- Take the documents to the admin office.
